The intelligent isolator detects the battery and applies the correct charge rate according to chemistry. To use this isolator you need two batteries which will give electronic preference to keeping the starting battery fully charged should it drop below 12.8v. After the starting battery has reached a full state of charge, the isolator will direct charge to the secondary (house battery) to keep it fully topped up. This ensures you will not be stranded with a flat battery! Due to utilizing the wasted space inside a standard battery case, Motobatt maximizes the dimensions of the plates internally. Additionally the plate grids are made thicker, and that with the additional density of the pasting improves the Amp Hour capacity, durability and Cold cranking Amps.
